Jeroen Boom has a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Twente University developing a membrane processes for a.o. separation of toluene / MTBE mixtures. After one year post-doc at the Demokritos Research Institute in Athens, he founded with a partner a consultancy firm & test center for membrane technology. Two years later he joined Rossmark, one of the oldest water treatment companies in The Netherlands that came finally a part of Veolia. In his initial position as process engineer he was involved in the realization of a large number of (waste) water treatment units. After 2 years leading the process department he was active as business developer and Global Account Manager for the Shell account within Veolia.
Since July 2016 he is sales director for MPP Systems, the BU in Veolia that markets an innovative extraction technology for removal of hydrocarbons from various waste streams.
