Mr. Al-Muhaisen is truly honored to be part of the SABIC Delegation for the panel discussion at MERCT on ‘A Motivation of Minds – Engineering the Future’.

Mr. Al-Muhaisen is General Manager of SABIC’s Global Talent Management Function (HR) and has previously held various leadership positions. As a member of SABIC’s HR leadership team, he today contributes towards the formulation and implementation of overall business strategies, plans and implementing optimum global talent availability structure.
Al-Muhaisen is synonymous for his strong leadership in SABIC Global Human Resources and his drive for engagement and delivering change. He also plays a pivotal role in SABIC’s HR Strategy with noteworthy contributions to major enterprise wide projects. Today in his role as Global Talent Management, he leads a Global HR team dedicated to enabling human capital for SABIC’s operational and strategic ambitions.
Responsibilities to the +40,000 staff include the direct effective and efficient management of the talent management function and ensuring adherence to guidelines and maximizing the return to the Corporation and its shareholders. His leadership style ensures the effective achievement of the Talent Management function through engagement, performance reviews, succession planning, leadership development, employee career development, global mobility, education / scholarship programs and talent acquisition; with a view to developing and motivating staff.
Under his remit, Talent Management aims to support our vision to be the preferred world leader in Chemicals, for which SABIC needs to embark on a long-term journey to develop one of its most important resources– our people. Hence, Talent Management strives to build a meritocratic culture, which focuses on both performance and values such that each employee can drive their own career and development with support from their managers.
